Minnesotans are joining the call for an end to violence in the Middle East, and for justice for the Minnesota family members of a murdered Palestinian teen.

Dozens of people joined the demonstration, with Minnesota family members of the two teens, outside U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar's office in Minneapolis Tuesday.

Organizers say they're demanding an end to Israel's collective punishment of Palestinians in the past two weeks.

Minnesota family members of 16-year-old Muhammed Abu Khadir and 15-year-old Tariq Abu Khadir were also outside Klobuachar’s office. Video captured Israeli police kicking and punching Tariq. He's from Florida, but was visiting family in Israel when he was beaten. His cousin, Muhammad, was abducted and burned alive. Muhammad's body was found last week in a forest outside Jerusalem.

On Monday, we spoke with Sherine Mashni of Inver Grove Heights. She’s the cousin of the two teens and said she felt angry when she heard they'd been the victims of this violence.
