Woman Accused of Stealing Thousands of Dollars from Richfield American Legion

A woman is accused of stealing nearly $200,000 from the Richfield American Legion where she worked.

Joy Delong, 60, of Bloomington faces seven felony counts of theft by swindle; she worked as a bookkeeper at the Legion. Delong allegedly stole the money over five years from the American Legion Gambling and lottery accounts.

The money was meant to help veterans.

Delong is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
