Minneapolis police want to reduce crime during next week’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
On Monday, the Minneapolis Police Department released a video focused on “See Something, Say Something.” It urges people to recognize signs that a crime or an act of terrorism is about to happen.
The video was produced in cooperation with the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab, and department officials say hundreds of Minneapolis officers and deputies from around the metro area will be trained through CELL’s Community Awareness Program.
The video is one way the police department hopes to combat crime; it also plans on adding more foot, bicycle and mounted patrols in and around Target Field.
