The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the victim of a shooting that happened late Friday night in northeast Minneapolis.
Twenty-eight-year-old Cabrie Devon Young of Minneapolis died from a gunshot wound to the chest at 11:51 p.m. on the 3400 block of Dupont Avenue North.
Minneapolis police responded to the scene around midnight and found Young dead inside a home.
Two other men were shot and injured in the incident. They were both taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the men has been arrested in connection to the death.
A woman was also killed in a separate, unrelated shooting several hours later in northeast Minneapolis.
Francesca Marie DeSandre died from multiple gunshot wounds around 5 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
