911 Call Service Restored after Interruption in Several Metro Counties

Law enforcement is informing Minnesota residents of a multi-county routing outage that is affecting 911 calls made from landline phones.

Those affected include western Hennepin, Wright, Sherburne and Benton counties.

Officials said that until the phone service is restored, people should use 763-525-6220 for fire, ambulance and law enforcement.

CenturyLink is aware of the issue and is working to repair the outage.

Any information regarding the outage will be posted here.

UPDATE: CenturyLink says all 911 call services have been restored as of 5 p.m. Saturday.
