Northbound Interstate 35 south of Owatonna was closed for about six hours Thursday after a fiery crash involving three vehicles. No injuries were reported, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

State Patrol officials say a Saturn SC1 and semi were stopped in the right northbound lane near mile marker 39 around 3:45 p.m. due to traffic backups. A third vehicle collided with the Saturn, which then forced that car to collide with the semi in front of it. The Saturn and semi then started on fire.

The State Patrol identified the driver of the Saturn as 32-year-old Lani Manion of Mankato; 43-year-old Kelly McCullough of Brainerd was driving the semi.

The driver of the third vehicle has been identified as 32-year-old Ronald Dickson of Homosassa, Florida, and his 7-year-old son, Aaron Dickson, was a passenger.

The northbound lanes of the freeway reopened south of Owatonna just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
