The world’s largest plane stopped at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Wednesday and departed several hours later.

The Antonov AN-225 Mriya, which is 275 feet long and 290 feet wide, made a stop in the Twin Cities for a delivery. It was built by the Soviet Union back in the 1980s, and its name means "Dream" in Ukrainian.

The massive plane has six turbo-fan jet engines and 32 wheels.

The plane took off shortly after 9:15 p.m.
