President Barack Obama is back in Washington, D.C., Friday night after a quick 24-hour trip in Minnesota.
The president left around noon Friday, shortly after a speech at the Lake Harriet bandshell. On Thursday he held a town hall at Minnehaha Park and then later attended a private fundraiser.
In between he visited some local businesses like Matt's Bar for lunch, Golden Fig and the Grand Ole Creamery in St. Paul.
University of Minnesota Political Science Professor Kathryn Pearson stopped by KSTP to give some analysis of the president's visit to the Twin Cities.
