A man who drowned at a lake in St. Paul on Saturday night has been identified by officials.
According to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office, the body of 22-year-old Roger Valle, of St. Paul, was pulled from Lake Phalen around 9 p.m.
At 8 p.m., a caller told police that someone in the swimming area at Lake Phalen went under water and did not resurface.
St. Paul police and fire departments, along with Ramsey County deputies, responded to the lake. The body was pulled from the lake 50 minutes later.
Valle's body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine an official cause of death.
This case remains under investigation by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office.
