A 14-year-old boy was rescued from Chaska Creek on Saturday afternoon.
The boy was trying to cross the water near Creek Road with five of his friends. Parts of the road had washed away in the area due to recent storms.
The teen got swept into the water and held onto a small tree trunk. A couple was walking nearby and called 911.
Chaska fire officials went into the water and rescued the boy. He was released to his parents and didn't have any apparent injuries.
Chaska officials are urging people to stay out of the water. The currents are fast and dangerous.
