The Ashley Madison website slogan reads in large print on their home page, "Life is Short. Have an Affair."
The website enables extramarital affairs, and also allows for people that are single seeking married individuals.
There are options for different levels of commitment such as "something short term" to "whatever excites me".
There are 74,111 cheaters present on the site who claim to live in the Twin Cities. According to the site, most affair seekers live in Apple Valley.
Those in Apple Valley are also recorded as having the most children on average and the St. Louis Park members have the most affair partners.
The website claims to not promote adultery, and encourage those in a failing relationship to seek counseling.
The company launched its website in 2002. With 26 million members in 25 countries and 10 languages, AshleyMadison is expected to bring in more than $120 million this year. A large portion of that cost could be from the $20 deactivation fee if you wish to erase your presence from the site.
