The Zuhrah Shrine Steel Drum Band is hoping the public can help them find a trailer that was stolen over the weekend.

The 40-foot trailer is used as a parade float by the band and was reportedly stolen from a parking lot on the 5700 block of West Broadway Avenue in Crystal over the weekend, according to the Crystal Police Department.

The trailer was seen around 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, and was reported missing at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31.

Crystal Deputy Chief Mike Mahan said they were told the trailer is valued anywhere from $25,000-$40,000 but also has a pricey sound system inside.

The trailer has Minnesota license plate CAT-8039. It’s described as white with a light green canopy, although police have received some reports that the canopy may be gone.

Anyone who sees the trailer or has any information is encouraged to call 911.

The Zuhrah Shrine is a fraternal organization that supports Shriners Hospitals for Children, a network that offers specialty pediatric care, research and teaching programs with no financial burden to the patients or their families.
