A 57-year-old man and a 42-year-old man have been arrested after allegedly growing marijuana at a home in Cass County.

Deputies located a marijuana growing operation in the Wildnerness Park Area in Meadow Brook Township on Thursday. A search warrant was issued and executed at a residence, authorities say.

The search produced more than 100 pot plants in various stages of growth, according to Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch. Authorities also found possible methamphetamine and firearms.

George Morcomb was arrested at the residence, Burch says. Larry Berg was also arrested and taken into custody.

Formal charges are pending.
