According to Facebook posts by family members, the teen is 14-year-old Dylan Thorp. Authorities have not released an official identity.
A friend, who was with Thorp, said he went swimming to get a stick at Lions Levee Park when he went under the water and disappeared around 5 p.m. Sunday.
