Even though the Super Bowl is still nearly four years away, one Minneapolis hotel is nearly sold out already for the game.
The Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis is one of the NFL hotels for the Super Bowl.
Hyatt General Manager Mark Becker tells 5 Eyewitness News the NFL has already booked 95 percent the rooms for the two weeks leading up to the game.
"What a great win for our city. What a great opportunity to celebrate our new stadium and frankly to celebrate the hardworking people of Minnesota," Becker said.
The Hyatt may be used as a team or media hotel for the thousands of reporters and networks covering the Super Bowl.
The Hyatt wants visitors to get a taste of Minnesota during the Super Bowl, so they'll be adding food and drink items with a Minnesota flavor to their restaurant menu.
