After several losing seasons and rumors of star player Kevin Love leaving, the Minnesota Timberwolves are getting some help off the court.

The team has hired Legends, an outside sports consulting firm, to help sell tickets with the upcoming $97 million renovation to Target Center.

The team hopes the firm will raise revenue on several fronts.

"They've gone through a number of different renovations and new buildings throughout the country that we will be able to lean on their expertise around some of the product offerings in the mix of products we offer," said Ryan Tanke of the Timberwolves.

This move is not unusual; several teams, including the Vikings, have hired outside firms to help sell tickets.
