The city of St. Louis Park is holding a hearing Monday on early design plans for the new Southwest Light Rail Transit line.
The meeting starts with an open house at 6 p.m. in City Hall followed by a hearing at 7:30 p.m.
Last month, the Met Council approved a route without the support of the city of Minneapolis. The sticking point is how the light rail, freight trains, and a bike path will share the Kenilworth Corridor.
All cities along the route need to sign off on the $1.6 billion plan.
