Minneapolis leaders will soon learn if their efforts to host a Super Bowl were enough to convince the NFL.

Vikings representatives trying to get the 2018 Super Bowl to the Twin Cities will land in Atlanta on Monday and will present their bid first before the NFL on Tuesday.

Not long after, the league will decide which city will host the big game.

Minneapolis is up against New Orleans and Indianapolis. Indianapolis hosted in 2012 and received rave reviews. New Orleans has hosted ten Super Bowls, and some think the Big Easy will get a big birthday gift; 2018 is the city's 300th birthday, and a Super Bowl would kick off the celebration. That would mean Minneapolis would be asked to wait a year.

While all three cities are being very quiet about their bids, we know the centerpiece for the Minneapolis bid is the new Vikings stadium, which is expected to open in 2016. Officials have also revealed the bid includes 19,000 hotel rooms, 48 different venue options, and an NFL theme park that's expected to draw 150,000 fans.

The Vikings released their Super Bowl 52 big logo via Twitter.

We have a crew on location at the NFL meetings in Atlanta, and we’ll have live reports when the winning city is chosen Tuesday.
