A new recruitment video from the terrorist group Al-Shabab, specifically targets young Somali men in the Twin Cities.

Throughout the nearly three minute video posted to YouTube, a man speaking English says the video is a "message to the youth out west." They specifically appeal to local Somali's with a fake airline boarding pass. The fictitious flight departs from Minnesota and arrives in Mogadishu.

Local Somali activist Abdirizak Bihi says, "What they are doing right now in this video is to marginalize us. More Minnesotans see this and relate that to our community and that means less jobs, a bad name."

The Minneapolis office of the FBI says they were made aware of the video earlier this week when it surfaced on the internet. They say that it is particularly interesting that it targets Minnesota.

They have been investigating this link for years, and say their efforts will continue until the pipeline from Minnesota to Africa is stopped.

In the past, nearly 24 Minnesotan men have been recruited by Al-Shabab.
