Sun on Sunday is easing the cloudy start to Mother's Day.
This will help boost temps into the upper 60s. However, KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl says the nice weather might not last long.
The system could bring cool, wet conditions to the Twin Cities, Dave says. Rain is expected by Sunday night and there is a chance for thunderstorms.
This comes after the Twin Cities was hit with a series of scattered showers and storms on Saturday night.
The week ahead looks to be cooler, with temperatures in 50s, Dave says. The temps aren't expected to get back into the 60s until next weekend.
