One man is hospitalized and one man was arrested after a stabbing outside of an east metro movie theater Saturday night, according to police.

Officers arrived to the Woodbury 10 Theater on Queens Drive around 9:30 p.m. to find a 23-year-old man from St. Paul with multiple stab wounds, police said. The victim was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police recovered a knife and took a 17-year-old St. Paul boy into custody. He is being held in Washington County Jail on suspicion of second degree assault.

Two other suspects, also from St. Paul, may face charges for assault and disorderly conduct, according to Woodbury Police.

Police believe the stabbing escalated from a verbal argument. They say there is no threat to the public.
