The Minnesota Twins have announced Sir Paul McCartney will bring his "Out There" tour to Target Field this summer.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Monday, April 28, at 10 a.m. Get more information here.

This will be both McCartney's first-ever show at the ballpark and the latest in a long and storied history with the Twin Cities: one that includes not only Paul’s previous shows on The US Tour in 2005 and The New World Tour in 1993, but also a 1976 stop on the Wings Over America tour and began with The Beatles’ one-and-only Minneapolis show in 1965.

Last year, 40,000 fans packed the ballpark to hear Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band.

The year before that it was Chesney and Tim McGraw.
