A Baraboo woman says she's been criticized and even threatened for sending letters of support to the Boston Marathon bombing suspect.

Crystel Clary says she wrote her first letter to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev three weeks after the bombing that killed three people and wounded dozens more.

The 35-year-old Clary tells WISC-TV she's written 14 letters and cards to Tsarnaev and only the cards have been returned by law enforcement officials. Clary says she wants Tsarnaev know that there are people who support him.

Clary's past includes a 2012 charge of delivering illegal articles to an inmate at the Oakhill prison in Wisconsin. She is awaiting sentencing for that conviction.

Meanwhile, Tsarnaev's lawyers will ask a federal judge in Boston Wednesday to dismiss some of the charges against him, claiming they are redundant.
