The woman's body found partially submerged in a creek in Maplewood on Saturday has been identified.
Victoria Thacker DeConwi's body was spotted about 30 yards off a trail in the Kohlman Creek Neighborhood Preserve by a passerby, Maplewood Police Chief Paul Schnell said.
Schnell said DeConwi moved from Washington to Minnesota in 2012. She has no local address and is believed to have been homeless for a while before her death, Schnell said.
She was found fully clothed with hiking boots on, Schnell said.
A final determination of the manner and cause of death is pending a toxicology test, but foul play has been ruled out, Schnell said.
