Autopsy Reveals Missing Foley Man Died of Gunshot Wound, Authorities Look for Leads

Investigators are asking for information in the death of a Foley man who went missing in December.

The body of 31-year-old Jamie Wylie was discovered on March 25, on the side of County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East St. Germain Street in Benton County. Just east of St. Cloud.

A preliminary autopsy by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office recently revealed that Wylie died as a result of a gunshot wound. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Wylie had been reported missing in December 2013.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
