This past week I received a review copy of Disney Interactive’s “Disney Infinity Phineas and Ferb Toy Box Pack.”
The “Phineas and Ferb Toy Box Pack” comes with “Phineas” and “Agent P.” The characters look amazing and are extremely detailed. They look exactly like the characters from the show, and they stand on a very cool base that looks like grass.
There are also two, new power discs included in the package. They are the “Tri-State Area Terrain” texture set and “Danville Sky” skydome. The two discs will change the Toy Box to a “Phineas and Ferb” theme.
Phineas has a really neat baseball blaster where he can shoot baseballs at enemies and Agent P can throw his fedora hat. I play “Disney Infinity” on the Wii U, and if you hold down the “ZL” button a target will show up and you can aim at targets. This is very helpful when you want to shoot an enemy with the baseball blaster or fedora hat.
One thing that I think is amazing with each character toy pack that is released is that each figure has its own unique special adventure that you can play.
Phineas has an adventure called “Phineas Pinball Mania.” At the beginning of the stage, you get to set up ten different obstacles that would be found in a pinball game such as flippers, bumpers, etc... After you create your pinball game, robots start walking down the board, and you must stop them before ten make it all the way down past the flippers. Phineas turns into a pinball ball, and you can launch him up the board and then on the way down, you can control him. You must try and crash into each robot before it makes it to the finish line. Once ten robots make it past the finish line, the game is over.
Agent P’s adventure is called “Agent P and the Infinity-inator.” This is one of my favorite adventures. You start out in a race car on track and you must try and collect as many yellow balls as you can. When you are driving you can shoot and jump over other cars that are blocking your way. After a little while, the game will change to a platform style level, where you have to avoid spotlights, and if are spotted, robots come and attack you. Once you clear this level, you go to a level where you have to try and collect yellow orbs while dodging red and blue ones. After you clear this stage, you go to a stage where you have a jet pack, and you can fly around trying to collect the yellow orbs while trying to dodge blue orbs. In the last stage, you have to fly to an island and destroy the Infinity-inator in a certain amount of time. If you run out of time, the game is over.
I thought the adventures were fun and very challenging.
If you are a fan of Disney Infinity, I would highly recommend that you check out Disney Interactive’s “Disney Infinity Phineas and Ferb Toy Box Pack.” The characters look amazing and have fun and exciting gadgets that you can use in the Toy Box. The adventures are fun and very challenging, plus the power discs that come packaged with the figures add a great new and fresh look to the Toy Box. Phineas and Agent P are two figures that are a must have in any “Disney Infinity” collection.
