Some people wouldn't want to live next to a cemetery, while others may not mind. However, one St. Paul restaurant doesn't want a funeral home next door.
Ho Ho Gourmet Asian restaurant on Old Hudson Road fears the funeral home, which is moving in, could ruin their business.
The Cremation Society of Minnesota is turning a former Perkins restaurant into a funeral home.
The restaurant says some Asian customers will not eat next to a funeral parlor, they say it could bring bad luck and be disrespectful. "We just wouldn't go in and have a good time right next to the people that have a sadness." said manager Kaling Wong.
The restaurant is considering putting up a fence between the businesses.
