A massive garage fire at a Centerville home sent flames into the sky that could be seen from over a mile away.
Fire officials say the fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the home. The family was able to make it out safely and no injuries were reported.
Officials said they received reports that the flames were visible from Interstate 35E, which is a mile and a half away from the home.
The garage was destroyed, but most of the home is still sound, according to officials.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
