2 Women Hit by Stray Bullets in Downtown Mpls. Drive-By Shooting

Two women were injured and three people were arrested after a shooting in downtown Minneapolis Saturday morning.

Police say the shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. and happened on 2nd Avenue near 5th Street. According to police, passengers from two separate cars fired shots at each other.

Two women were hit by stray bullets as they walked nearby, according to police. They went to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Two men and a woman were later arrested near Interstate 94 and Dowling Avenue North.

At this point, additional details have not been released.
