Madison McKeever scored 32 points, including the game-deciding free throws, to help Win-E-Mac beat Mankato Loyola 62-61 Friday in the Class A semifinals of the Girls' State Basketball Tournament.
McKeever made 20 free throws and six field goals. Her free throw with 13 seconds left in the game proved to be the game-winner.
Win-E-Mac advances to play Minneota in the Class A title game Saturday afternoon at Williams Arena.
Megan Schroeder scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for Mankato Loyola in defeat.
Win-E-Mac led by as much as 10 points with just over four minutes remaining, but Mankato Loyola went on a 17-9 run to close the gap to two points with 18 seconds left.
McKeever was fouled and made one of two free throws. Mankato Loyola had a chance to tie the game with a three, but it was off the mark and Schroeder made a layup just before time expired.
