Bloomington Kennedy went wire-to-wire winning their Class AAAA State Girls Basketball Quarterfinal over St. Michael-Albertville 71-57.

St Michael-Albertville stayed close, keeping the halftime margin at seven thanks to their torrid 52-percent shooting in the first half.

But that number faded to 27.6-percent in the second half, allowing the Eagles to pull away.

For their part, Kennedy shot a sizzling 55-percent for the game.

Senior Kenisha Bell scored a game-high 29 points for Kennedy who advance to play Lakeville North in the Class AAAA Semifinals on Friday.
