A father and son were arrested in the stabbing of a man outside of a bar in Brainerd.
According to the Brainerd Police Department, shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday police responded to a report of a fight outside of Pit Stop Bar in the 700 block of Laurel Street.
Officers found a 24-year-old Brainerd man inside the bar who was bleeding and appeared to have a serious wound to his upper left torso. He was taken by ambulance to Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center, where he remains in intensive care.
Witnesses pointed out the suspects, who were walking east on Laurel Street. Police arrested 23-year-old Jorie Richard Ray and his father 42-year-old Ronald Richard Ray, both of Brainerd. Police found a knife where the men were arrested.
The men are being held in the Crow Wing County Jail. Formal charges are under review by the Crow Wing County Attorney's Office.
