A woman was hit in the arm with a stray bullet early Sunday morning while she was sleeping in a home in North Minneapolis, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
The victim was sleeping in a bedroom on the second floor of a home on the 700 block of Sheridan Avenue North when she was hit by the bullet around 2:30 a.m., police spokesperson John Elder said.
The woman had non-life threatening injuries and did not want to be transported to a hospital, Elder said.
Minneapolis police are investigating.
