Boys Hoops: Austin Tops Holy Family in Class 3A Semifinal

Austin took an early 18-8 lead Thursday against Holy Family Catholic and cruised to a comfortable 70-42 win in the Boys' State Basketball Tournament Class 3A Semifinals.

Austin (28-3) took advantage of 25 Holy Family turnovers and held a 38-20 lead at halftime.

Ajuda Nywesh led all players with 21 points for Austin, who will face DeLaSalle on Saturday for the Class 3A championship at Target Center. Zach Wessels added 14 points and Bret Lukes added 10 points for the Packers.

Justin Dahl led Holy Family with eight points.
