A 23-year-old man died in south Minneapolis after he was shot Saturday night and police are looking for the suspect.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Anthony Lee Fairbanks of Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers from the third precinct responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 2700 block of Longfellow Avenue around 10 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located Fairbanks. Police say he appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center where he died Sunday morning.
The medical examiner says Fairbanks died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.

Meanwhile, a deadly shooting occurred in North Minneapolis Saturday night. Minneapolis Police say it appears the shootings are not related.
