The Minnesota Twins entered the seventh inning trailing 5-0 Friday afternoon, but scored six times in the final three innings to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-5. Chris Colabello's go-ahead RBI single with two outs in the top of the ninth gave the Twins their first lead of the day. Colabello went 3 for 3.

Pittsburgh did all of its scoring in the first two innings, scoring three in the first and two more in the second off of Vance Worley, who struggled in his 1 2-3 innings of work. The Pirates sent nine men to the plate in the opening frame.

Minnesota will play Toronto on Saturday afternoon.
