The Robbinsdale Area School Board voted on a plan to make up school days missed because of the weather.
Robbinsdale schools have missed six days. The school year calendar schedules 170 instructional days for students. School officials say with six days lost, the district now falls below the required number of days for all students.
The following modifications have been made to the calendar:
“We value instructional time and are committed to maximizing the remaining instructional time we have with our students,” said Superintendent Aldo Sicoli. “Our staff has been flexible and creative while successfully moving our students through the curriculum.”
“This has been a challenging winter for our families and our school district,” said Sicoli. “We appreciate our families, staff, and the community for their patience and support as we have worked through this winter. We are all looking forward to spring. ”
