A pickup truck carrying three teens rolled off an icy road late Thursday in Blue Earth, Minn., killing the 16-year-old driver.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Ethan Rorman was killed when his vehicle lost control while traveling westbound on Leland Parkway. The vehicle rolled into the ditch near Hood Street just before 11 p.m.

Christopher Sanders, 15, a passenger in the vehicle, was not injured. Logan Jahnke, 15, another passenger, was taken to the hospital for a non-life threatening injury. Both were from Blue Earth.

Rorman was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said, while the others were belted in. No alcohol was detected, according to the patrol.
