The University of Minnesota Duluth student who was hospitalized for severe frostbite continues to recover at home.

Alyssa Jo Lommel recently posted new pictures to Instagram, including one of her walking with her dog.

Lommel underwent several surgeries, including amputation of fingers and toes, for injuries sustained from severe frostbite.

Police say she had been out drinking in early December and was dropped off at her house around midnight.  The next morning a passerby saw her on the front porch of a neighbor’s house about nine hours later.
