School Bus Carrying 29 Student Slides into 2 Cars in Minneapolis

Two cars were totaled but no one was hurt after a school bus apparently lost control on icy roads in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning.

The bus was carrying 29 students from Jenny Lind Elementary School at the time of the accident. According to a KSTP photographer on the scene, the bus was going down a hill on Dowling Avenue North near Sixth Street North when it slid into two cars.

The two cars involved were totaled and the front arm of the bus was sheared off, our photographer says, but no one was hurt.

The students were put on a different bus and taken to school.
