On Tuesday the Minnesota Vikings gave KSTP a first look at their new Preview Center across the street from construction of the new stadium.
The 7,500 square foot center will serve as a marketing tool for the team to sell season tickets.
Starting this week, season ticket holders will begin coming through to choose their pricing plans for seats in the new stadium. The team will only say construction of the Preview Center was "in the low seven figures."
But officials insist it's a necessity in selling tickets to give fans a taste of the experience they're buying. The center is loaded with interactive technology to show fans what the "game day experience" will be like.
There are two mock suites, club seats, 37 high definition TV's, and a simulation that takes you with the players from the locker room, through the tunnel, and onto the field.
Most of the seats in the new stadium require purchase of a one-time seat license in order to buy season tickets. Those license fees range from $500 to $9,500.
The cost of the stadium suites range from $110,000 to $500,000 per season.
