The father who lost five of his children in a duplex fire is out of the hospital.

A family spokesman says Troy Lewis was released from Hennepin County Medical Center this weekend.

Five of his children, ranging from 18-months-old to 8-years-old, were killed when their home in North Minneapolis burned on Valentine's Day. Two other children are still hospitalized.

It is believed the fire started in the center of the second floor and then extended to the first floor before climbing to the third, Minneapolis Fire Chief John Fruetel said.

The funerals for the five children will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis.
