The paramedic who was badly injured when his ambulance collided with an SUV is finally out of the hospital.

The family of 30-year-old Brian Nagel of Greenwood, updated his Caring Bridge page Saturday, saying they are excited he can sleep without nurses and doctors waking him up.

The crash happened last month in Buffalo Township.

EMT Tim Daly, and the driver of the SUV, 51-year-old Marilyn Paumen of Monticello, were also injured in the crash. Daly left the hospital with both legs in casts. Paumen later died.
