Immigration activists are demanding Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek stop breaking up immigrant families for Valentine's Day, and instead break the ties with I.C.E.

Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee and allies will be singing immigrant rights love songs and delivering a Valentine's Day letter to the sheriff’s office Friday.

Supporters plan to rally outside the Hennepin County Jail and then go to Sheriff Stanek's office in City Hall.

The protest is sponsored by No More Deportations campaign, a campaign initiated by the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee.

 It kicks off at noon.
