There are new details on a massive recall of some of the country's most popular car seats, because of a faulty buckle.
If federal authorities get their way, it's about to get even bigger.
So far, the recall includes 11 models made from 2009 to 2013. Those include the Cozy Cline, the ComfortSport and a few versions of the My Ride seats.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should also include seven other models of infant car seats, which have the same issue. That would be an extra 1.8 million seats.
Graco says tests have shown that when food or drinks get into the buckles they can make them sticky, and hard to unlatch over time.
However, the company says they will send out replacement buckles to anyone for free.
