An independent movie is being shot in Minnesota this month.
Filmmakers are shooting "The Polar Bear Club" in Chisago City. It's about four older men who jump into a frozen lake during the cold Minnesota winter.
"Snowbate" helped attract the filmmakers here; it's the state's production incentive program. The Minnesota Film & TV Board says the Snowbate Program can provide filmmakers rebates of up to 25 percent for shooting in the state.
Filmmakers expect to complete the movie by this summer and hope to show it at the Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Film Festival next year.
