Former Maple Grove Student Dies Following Shooting Near MSU

A Michigan State University student shot in his apartment near campus used to attend Maple Grove High School.

Twenty-year-old Dominique Nolff died Saturday morning. He and his roommate were found in their apartment Friday night with gunshot wounds.

Nolff, known at Maple Grove High as D.J., played football and basketball before moving to Michigan where he graduated from high school. He was a sophomore at MSU.

His roommate survived the shooting and was released from the hospital.

No arrests have been made in the case.
