MNsure is adding a dozen workers to help address an expected jump in call volume.
The state-run health exchange says it will began training the employees this week.
As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, the call center received 1,682 calls. The average wait time is just under 18 minutes, according to Jenni Bowring-McDonough of MNsure.
The deadline to get health insurance through MNsure is March 31; otherwise you'll have to pay a penalty.
MNsure is expecting a flood of calls in March.
