With memories of below zero temperatures and negative double-digit wind chill, Minnesotans were eager to get outside and Saturday was a great day to get some fresh air.
Jenna Farrell from Edina watched her daughter enjoy a snow castle, "Especially when we've had, like -30 degree temps! This is perfect!"
Mark Eagles from Roseville was watching pond hockey on Lake Nokomis, he said he was enjoying the mind temperatures, "I've been here when it's 20 below and you have to bundle up, so this is perfect weather."
Erin Kinchelowe from Minneapolis was also enjoying the outdoors, crisp temperatures and bright blue sky, "It's a perfect winter day. Snow just fell, but it's nice out. Sunny. Finally."
Anton Stand Teiner from Lake Tahoe California came to Minnesota to play in the annual pond hockey tournament. He was impressed by the locals love of this January day, "The Minnesotans are tough, the cold weather doesn't bother them."
