Doctors have laid out a recovery timeline for the University of Minnesota-Duluth student who is recovering from severe frostbite.

Alyssa Lommel was found on Dec. 7, unconscious outside in the cold after a night of drinking.

According to Lommel's CaringBridge site, she should be released from the hospital by mid-February.

Doctors also have tentative dates set for her next surgeries.

They want podiatry experts to look at her heels again to see if more work needs to be done. Hand surgeons will meet with prosthetic experts.

Any necessary surgeries should be performed next Wednesday, according to her CaringBridge site.
